18 July 2013: Army migrating to Adobe fillable forms. Army Publishing Directorate will begin conversion of the Army's inventory of existing IBM Lotus forms to PDF in the first quarter of FY 14 with a completion by the end of FY 14. Beginning in FY15, Lotus Forms and ApproveIt / eSign software will no longer be supported. This is great news for Mac users since Lotus and ApproveIt has never worked for them. Please know that the current EES system requires Lotus Forms and eSign to allow signing of OERs (currently) and NCOERs (in the future).

22 June 2013: A LOT of dual persona users have had a difficult time activating their PIV cert. Without it being activated, they cannot access their office AKO replacement email (@mail.mil). All information regarding this process can be found here. We have found 2 alternate options (depending on your Operating System version).
32 bit Windows users can use Firefox to activate your PIV cert. Make sure you have Firefox set up correctly to use your CAC first. 64 bit Windows users can use Waterfox to activate your PIV cert. 14 December 2012: Found out that Navy personnel are not authorized to read your own email via OWA on your computer without the written permission of their local IA Authority IAW the SAAR-N you previously signed. I also found out you will need to sign another agreement before you can read your own email via OWA from a non Government owned computer. The Navy has quite a few requirements for your personal computer that they mandate you meet before before reading your own @Navy.mil email. From what I was told, you could get into trouble if you do not follow these rules. This must be why they make you login with your CAC to download ActivClient? :)
